PHOENIX PET PHOTOGRAPHER
Everybody has photos of their furry loved one all throughout their phone. Chances are most of them are blurry or out of focus, the lighting is terrible so you can't see that twinkle in their eye and the quality of that phone camera doesn't lend itself to printing the photo in a large canvas.
That's where I, a pet photographer, come in.
The photos will be tack sharp. The lighting will be perfect with my professional lighting equipment and the quality of the photo will demand to be printed as large as possible.
On top of that, you and YOUR PEt will walk away with a memorable experience and at least one of you will leave with a tummy full of treats.
All packages are subject to 8.1% sales tax. Tax not included. A 50% retainer fee is required on all bookings, meaning half of the cost is to be paid upon signing the contract and this is non-refundable. Sessions may require a permit for shooting at particular locations such as parks, etc. Permit fee not included
The process
-
What should I bring to the session?Bring any item that lets their personality shine like their favorite toy, treats, outfit, etc. If they have a blanket or bed that they love, that would come in very handy at calming any nerves they may have.
-
How do you handle pets that are shy or uncooperative? Each pet has their own personality. It's important to work at their pace and not try to force them into anything. I use soft encouragement such as treats, toys, bubbles and other handy tricks to help them feel at ease. I also don't rush into the photo session. I let your pet get comfortable with me and their surroundings prior to any shooting taking place (and that time does not count towards the session time. Their comfort is my number one priority)
-
What happens if my pet gets nervous or anxious during the session?I have a lot of experience working with nervous pets. I know how to create a calm environment. If necessary, we would take breaks, give your pet more time to adjust, and even reschedule if everything is too overwhelming for your pet
-
Do you photograph pets indoors or outdoors? All of my pet sessions are done inside at my home studio in front of a backdrop. We want to eliminate as many distractions as possible to better allow your pet to focus and an indoor, studio environment will best produce that. My backdrops to choose from are gray, blue, red, orange, green and pink
-
Can I be in the photos with my pet?I insist! Nothing adds more of a meaningful touch than you being in the photos with your pet. This can also make them feel more comfortable as well
-
What if my pet doesn’t stay still for photos? That fine! Armed with my professional lighting equipment and techniques, I can capture candid moments of even the rowdiest of pets. Usually, they'll be pretty energetic at first and then calm down after a while
-
Do you edit out leashes or harnesses?Yes! If a leash is needed to keep your pet in front of the backdrop, that and the collar can be edited out in post-production, achieving clean images
-
Can you photograph multiple pets together?Yes, I can photograph multiple pets. It is $100 more for each pet included.
-
What should my pet wear, if anything? You can dress your pet up in a sweater, wearing a bandana, sunglasses, anything! If you have a crazy idea for accessories, I'm here for it. Or if you just want them photographed in all their naked glory, I'm here for that also. It's totally up to you.
-
When will I receive my photos, and how do I order prints?Images would be delivered within two weeks of the session date and would be delivered via an online gallery. You will have full printing rights, allowing you to print the photos anywhere you wish. I do suggest printing the photos directly from the gallery, however. That way, the photos will be printed from a professional lab, retaining the high quality that can be lost when you print from your local drug store
